MSC Cruises has revealed new details about the family entertainment coming to MSC World Asia, the cruise line’s highly anticipated new flagship. The ship will offer a wide range of family-friendly activities, immersive game shows, outdoor adventures, kids’ clubs, teen experiences, and LEGO-themed spaces.

MSC World Asia will sail 7-night Mediterranean itineraries visiting destinations such as Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples, and Valletta.

At the center of the ship’s family experience will be the Family Aventura District, a lively area designed for guests of all ages. This district will include The Clubhouse, The Harbour, Doremiland kids club, and Luna Park Arena.

MSC World Asia Will Feature New Family Entertainment Areas

MSC Cruises says family entertainment on MSC World Asia will be bigger, more interactive, and more innovative than ever before. The cruise line is introducing several new spaces and experiences designed for toddlers, kids, teens, parents, and multi-generational families.

Steve Leatham, MSC Cruises Vice President of Entertainment, said the ship will offer the line’s widest range of family programs yet, with more immersive and personalized experiences for guests of all ages.

Matteo Mancini, MSC Cruises Family Entertainment Development Director, added that the goal is to surprise and inspire families with experiences that feel fresh and memorable.

MSC Luna Park Arena

Interactive Game Shows and Digital Experiences

MSC Luna Park Arena will be one of the most innovative entertainment venues on MSC World Asia. The space will use digital technology to transform the floor into an interactive arena where guests can compete in immersive gaming experiences.

The venue will feature three original game shows:

Code Breakers

Code Breakers will be a fast-paced mission where guests work to crack a secret code.

Labyrinth

Labyrinth will challenge guests with intelligence, strategy, and orientation-based gameplay.

Chart Toppers

Chart Toppers will be a music quiz where players compete to identify songs and artists from different generations.

The Clubhouse

Retro-Inspired Family Fun

The Clubhouse will serve as a central hub for active family entertainment. The space will feature bright colors, retro details, vintage-style props, and a fun atmosphere for families and friends to play together.

Guests can expect several activities in The Clubhouse, including:

LEGO Family Zone
Roller skating
Bumper cars
Sports activities
Wellness sessions led by professional coaches

The Clubhouse will also feature refreshed versions of several MSC Cruises favorites, including Guinness World Records, MasterChef at Sea Juniors, Doremix Family Disco, Star Shooters, and World Quest.

New Experiences in The Clubhouse

MSC Cruises will also introduce new entertainment concepts in The Clubhouse, including Extra Record Live, a new pop-up version of Guinness World Records, and Out of Control, a high-energy sports court challenge where participants compete against timed digital obstacle challenges.

Outdoor Adventures for the Whole Family

The Harbour will be an outdoor family destination with open-air activities, ocean views, wet and dry attractions, and entertainment throughout the day.

Families will be able to enjoy several adventure-style experiences, including the Adventure Trail rope course, Twin Racer waterslides, U Drop waterslides, and the longest dry slide at sea.

The Harbour will also feature Cliffhanger, which MSC Cruises describes as Europe’s first over-water swing.

The Play Deck

Younger guests will have a new outdoor playground called The Play Deck. This relaxed outdoor space will be designed for kids of all ages and will include comfortable seating and simple play elements that encourage families to spend time together.

Evening Entertainment at The Harbour

During the day, The Harbour will offer family activities, LEGO Parade appearances, and daily entertainment. In the evening, the space will transform into a glowing outdoor theme park with an extended entertainment program.

Teen Entertainment on MSC World Asia

New AI Avatar and Teen-Only Events

MSC World Asia will also introduce an updated teen entertainment program. A new AI avatar named Yuna will host exclusive teen events, including the Yuna K-Pop Party and Yuna Boogie Roller Party.

Teen-only sessions will also take place in MSC Luna Park Arena and The Clubhouse. These will include special editions of Chart Toppers, Labyrinth, and Code Breakers.

MSC Cruises will also update Quiz O’Clock: The Battle with new video content and multilingual support.

Doremiland Kids Club

More Than 1,000 Square Metres of Kids’ Spaces

Doremiland will be located on Deck 19 and will span more than 1,000 square metres. The kids’ club will include dedicated spaces for different age groups, from the Baby Club developed with Chicco to Junior and Teens Clubs.

Families will be able to choose between supervised childcare and shared family experiences.

LEGO-Themed Rooms

MSC World Asia will also feature two new LEGO-themed rooms. One room will be inspired by landmarks and culture across Asia, while the other will be themed around Formula 1.

Younger guests will also be able to enjoy the new LEGO Parade, featuring seven mascots inspired by LEGO characters.

MSC World Asia Mediterranean Itineraries
