Carnival Cruise Line is introducing a new dining option designed to give guests more flexibility during their cruise vacation. The cruise line has begun rolling out Express Dining, a faster way to enjoy dinner in the main dining room while still experiencing the same quality cuisine and service.
The new program is already available on several ships and will be fully implemented across the fleet by the end of May 2026.
What Is Express Dining on Carnival Cruise Line?
Express Dining is a new option available nightly in the ship’s main dining room that allows guests to enjoy a multi-course dinner in under an hour.
The service is designed for groups of six guests or fewer who want a full dining experience but prefer a faster pace so they can enjoy more onboard activities afterward.
According to Carnival, guest feedback played a major role in the development of this new option.
Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, said that many guests want more flexibility in how they spend their time on board. Express Dining gives them the ability to enjoy dinner without committing to a longer dining experience.
How Express Dining Works
Express Dining maintains the familiar main dining room experience but with streamlined service. The goal is to reduce the overall dining time while still offering a quality meal.

Guests who have booked Your Time Dining can choose Express Dining through the Carnival HUB app while on board.
This allows cruisers to decide whether they want a traditional relaxed dinner or a quicker dining experience on a given evening.

Family Express Service
Carnival recently introduced Family Express service on the Lido Deck. This program was first tested on Carnival Vista before expanding across the fleet.
