The Celebrity Takeover Series will be offered once per sailing and is designed to create standout vacation memories.
These exclusive experiences will transform major European attractions and even lesser-known public spaces into private events for Celebrity River Cruises guests. Celebrity says these bespoke experiences are meant to be the defining highlight of each sailing, although specific examples have not yet been revealed.
Pre- and Post-Cruise Stays Expand the Experience Beyond the Ship
In addition to shore experiences during the cruise, Celebrity River Cruises will also offer multi-day pre- and post-cruise stays that follow the same small-group, locally led philosophy.
Beginning in 2027, these stays will be available in Prague and Budapest, with Amsterdam joining in 2028.
What Is Included in the Extended Stays
Each pre- and post-cruise package will include premium hotel accommodations, daily breakfast, airport transfers, daily small-group tours with local hosts, and dedicated concierge service for dining reservations and private experiences.

Celebrity River Cruises sailings are already on sale.
Bookings for 2027 and 2028 pre- and post-cruise stays will open this summer. All other destination experiences will open for booking in 2027.
